There is an instant attraction between Piper and Crash when they first meet. Crash is the man about Oakport Beach with his finger in many business pies. Crash is also about to become Piper's new boss. That's if she stays once she finds out the truth.
Whilst in Oakport Beach, Piper uses the opportunity to hide from the problems she left behind,,,until her past catches up with her in a very unexpected way.
Piper just rolls with the punches and accepts what is being asked of her. I'm not sure that most of would be as adaptable. I loved how being with Piper makes Crash focus less on work and more on life in general. She brings a balance to his life.
