Henry is a Dom with a heart. Every single one of interactions prove this. He is a rare gem. When he meets Ryan he instantly knows he wants to explore more with him in a relationship and as a Dom/Sub. However, Ryan is jumpy and has a vulnerability that seeps off of him. Henry recognises this instantly and is very careful in the way he treats him. There is every reason why Ryan is this way but with the right man and the right sort of love, Ryan awakens and starts to find his way and his inner strength.
Ryan's story is not an easy one. It is one that no-one should experience but I loved the nurturing by Henry that brought him back to life and the strength that Ryan found. This was an emotive read that was quite a roller coaster. It brought the feels and I fell in love with both Henry and Ryan. They were perfect together.
