This book starts with a bang and doesn't let up throughout. This book starts with Hadley in hospital after preventing something terrible from happening. Cobi immediately starts to protect her and refuses to let up at all but he does in such an endearing way (for the most part) that it is so sweet and heart warming. It left me wondering where I can find me a Cobi. Under his ministrations, Hadley becomes alive properly and finds her place. I loved Cobi's parents and the relationship between them and him. They were so incredibly sweet and welcomed Hadley with open arms giving her a sense of family for the first time in her life.
This was a first rate read that warmed my heart and brought all the warm and fuzzies with an edge of tension throughout. A really good feel good read. This is a great series overall and this was an amazing addition. Loved it.
