A feud that is spilling over to the next generation brings Carrie and Reid together. It is their chemistry that keeps them together against the odds.

Reid has taken over Carrie's father's company and 'driven' him out. Set on revenge Carrie manages to get it in a way that leaves the man who likes to be in control, out of control. This Reid finds admirable and he wants more of her fir, passion and outside the box thinking in the office and the bedroom. They join forces to turn the company around whilst dancing around their attraction for each other.

Along the way they have to navigate the shark infested waters as there are lots who want them to fail, including their fathers. I really loved this book. Lisa Renee Jones' writing always pulls me quickly into the story and has me thoroughly invested in the characters which has me running the gauntlet of emotions with them. These were both strong, confident and independent characters and their relationship strengthened these traits rather than detract from them. Lisa Renee Jones has done it again.
