Title: Cut Loose
Series: The Sublime
Author: Julia Wolf
Genre: Rom/Com

He was the worst she ever had, so why can't she get him out of her head?
Francisca Rivera— call her Frannie, please— says what she means and takes what she wants. Six months ago, all it took was one look at James, the gorgeous, bearded man pouring drinks at her favorite bar, and she had to have him in her bed.
To say she had been disappointed would be the biggest understatement in the history of all understatements. James was a no good, very bad lay.
But there is just something about James' quiet, steady manner and the way he's always watching her at the bar— like she's something special— that keeps her wanting.
Frannie is wild and free with an aversion to relationships. James is soft-spoken and shy with a tendency to be reclusive. Can two opposites meet somewhere in the middle and take a second chance at their first time?
Rating: 4.5*
Oh James, quiet, unassuming, shy James. My heart went out to this socially and sexually awkward hot man. I am so glad Frannie gave him a second chance and helped bring him out of his shell and with his confidence. The transformation was incredible.
I fell for James right from the start and he needed a strong, confident woman to bring him out. Frannie was very confident in some areas of her life yet in others she demonstrated a vulnerability and a lack of confidence in some areas of her life that are born from her past.
Whilst Frannie is pretty much an open book when it comes to who she is, James keeps a number of elements of his life hidden from Frannie.
I loved the role reversal from your usual girl virgin seeking enlightenment. This worked and it worked really well. There was no judgement about their situations, just a supportive environment. The biggest challenge was the characters own insecurities.
I loved everything about this book and will definitely be coming back for more from this author.
"Julia lives in Maryland with her patient husband and three crazy beautiful kids. When she's not writing, momming, or watching Real Housewives, she's reading a book. Julia's a lover of all things romance. From sweet, to funny, to steamy, to so dirty you'll blushing for days, she reads (and writes!) it all."
