Review of "The Beast of Aubyn Hall" By: Alex L. Michaels

"The Beast of Aubyn Hall" By: Alex L. Michaels
Rating:  ☆☆☆☆

I always get excited about stories where the lead is a librarian.  My inner geek did a happy dance.

Bronte and her team are hired to catalogue Caine's personal family library.  Caine has a reputation of being a beast.  He is built like a beast and has can be very brusque in dealing with people around him.  He is, however, demanding but a man of few words most of the time.  He knows what he wants and will stop at nothing to get it.  He wants Bronte.

Bronte has no idea how to handle the attention from Caine and spends most of her time running from him and hiding.  The beast is stalking her and persistent, despite giving off mixed messages.

This combined a story about a librarian with hints of beauty and the beast.  It was a brilliant idea, with characters that I equal part liked and equal part wanted to shake in frustration.  The story flowed well for the most part.  I enjoyed this read.
