Oh my gosh, I have loved this series about friendship and love so much. I have loved each and every one of this group of friends and their stories. Each one as unique as the friend they are about. This is Natasha's book. We have had glimpses of Natasha and how she falls for single dad and mechanic Diesel but this is their story after they got their HEA.
Natasha was career focused, super organised but an over thinker. Diesel is the complete opposite to the men she usually falls for but he is refreshing and down to earth, pulling her out of herself. In spending time with Diesel and falling for him and his daughter, her priorities change.
This was about Natasha over coming her insecurities and putting her past behind her. I could relate to Natasha over thinking everything - something I tend to do a lot but Diesel was perfect for her in that he recognised when this happened and worked to pull her out of herself. What Natasha comes to realise as she grapples with her own insecurities is that Diesel has them too but he doesn't let them rule his life.
Natasha and Diesel was the right couple to end on as it had a particular poignancy to it. I am sad to see this series end but it has brought so much joy. A firm favourite that I wil be revisiting time and time again.
