Two characters with very tall, think walls around their hearts. Both have been through the mill and both have closed their hearts off but together something magical happens and their walls are slowly chipped away.
Zach's property business is thriving and their latest acquisition is another boost to the family business. Unfortunately Zach's good news is Emily's bad news as it leaves her and her children homeless within hours of losing her job. With no one to rely on or to support her, she has been doing everything solo. Zach is instantly drawn to Emily and refuses to let her sink any further and offers her a job and home. Emily struggles to let anyone help her but Zach being a knight in shining armour may just be what she needs.
These two have been to their own personal hell and back and survived. Two different experiences that led them to the same place. Watching these two fall along with their walls was a real treat. They learn to trust, to love, to depend. This brought the feels and had me so immersed in their journey and hooked me on their story. i loved this book so completely and utterly.

Karen Deen has been a lover of romance novels and happily-ever-after
stories for as long as she can remember. Reaching a point in her life where she
wanted to explore her own dreams, Karen decided now was the time to finally
write some of her own stories. For years, all of her characters have been
