Librarian May has taken the plunge into the datingi world through an online app. Unfortunately, her first date stands her up and has actually cat fished her by using ex-soccer player Aiden's photographs. After the experience she deletes the app and changes her phone number. It is a huge surprise when the real Aiden turns up in her life as she is saving a young boy from a pond.
An injury ended Aiden's career playing soccer and is now working at his father's construction company whilst dodging his mother's not so subtle attempts to find him a wife. May is a breath of fresh air and unexpected yet what he needed. After her experience with fake Aiden, she is finding it difficult to trust that he is real and wants to spend time with her.
May is a bit quiet and reserved, lacking in some self-confidence. Whilst Aiden is the complete opposite. It is these differences that balance each other out. May's disbelief in his interest in her means that he is having to work to win her over, where previously women have just fallen at his feet. This was sweet and hot with a interesting twist to keep the reader on their toes. I adore this series and this was a great addition.
