We have met Tucker before and it is his turn to feel the boom and find his one.
His one is Sydney. Sydney has returned to the US following a brutal attack whilst trying to stop poachers that nearly killed her and her unborn child. She is trying to rebuild her life and bring up her daughter without attracting trouble again. She feels she is safe until her new boss at the zoo brings her unwanted publicity. When Sydney meets Tucker, she does all she can to avoid him as she is fearful of how he makes her feel. If anyone can understand trauma, it is Tucker. This big former military man who is part of a MC melts with Sydney and is a big teddy bear at his core. He embraces her daughter, which completely melts my heart.
There was plenty of action happening around these two and particularly Sydney as it becomes clear that her past has returned and is determined to finish what it started. But at the core of this is the uncertainty that Sydney feels in the developing feelings she has for Tucker. There is a vulnerability there that Tucker understands and show incredible patience in waiting for her to be ready. Tucker was an incredible man in the way that he was with Sydney and her daughter. It made him even sexier if that was possible.
