Skylar is trying to get a fresh start after bad relationships and put downs. She is managing her first gallery and the opening show is for her all time favourite photographer. Knocked over by the cutest three-legged dog in the park, her bad luck seems to be continuing until she spots his gorgeous owner...and then he opens his mouth. Julius is the most obnoxious and arrogant man that she has met. Julius doesn't want to get close to anyone but Skylar gets under his skin.
Julius is keeping secrets, hiding from the world, and not letting anyone get close to him but as he explores wanting Skylar in his life, his walls start to crumble. Skylar provides him with a different view point on the world and world full of colour.
This was a read that was sweet, sexy and heartwarming. I loved these characters and the journey they took me on.
