manwhore. noun.

Rhett Morgan couldn't have been more wrong for me. The guy drank beer in the shower, for crying out loud. He had no prospects for the future, had slept with half the women in our beach town of Kill Devil Hills, and had no desire to change his manwhore ways.
And when Ben Turner, the guy I had loved from afar for the past four years, died and I couldn't get over his death, I desperately needed a distraction. A distraction like Rhett. So I used him for a one-night stand. Because, after all, that's the only thing a guy like Rhett is good for...right?
***New Adult Romance. This novel is the third book in the Kill Devil Hills series, however it can be read as a standalone. Recommended for 18+
REVIEW
Rating: 4.5
On Sydney's sixteenth birthday, John surprised her with breakfast homemade pancakes with blueberries. She shared a kiss with Rhett at Chancy's Claw, where she and John are supposed to meet her parents for a birthday dinner. She then decided that she was going to take college classes because she was a nerd. Sydney was very surprised to see that Ben was taking classes as well and when he told her that he was going to be joining the Coast Guard she supported him all the way. Know on her eighteenth birthday she is getting ready for Ben's funeral. Her mother drove all night from Florida to get to North Carolina to be with Sydney.
Sydney went through a lot of changes after been died, she was invisible while she was in school. She is John's younger sister. She spent time in New York with her parents, her parents would much rather be partying and socializing. She comes from a rich family. Rhett didn't come from a rich family, he is helping his mother pay for her house that she has. He never went to college, he loves to cook. He is a bartender at Chancy's Claw. Ben is very handsome, he joined the Coast Guard and he was lost at sea. John is Sydney's older brother, he is very protective of Sydney. He is also her legal guardian. He is a horrible cook and he is 10 years older then Sydney. He has a lot of tattoos and has a tattoo shop. Georgie is Ben's younger sister, was saved by Noah. Noah is Georgie's boyfriend, he has OCD when it comes to cleaning. Ellie Turner is Noah and Rhett's friend and roommate. She is Georgie and Ben's sister.
This is the third book in the Kill Devil Hills series. This is an amazing series, it's very well written and the characters are very well developed. I couldn't help but feel very connected to the characters.
